The Forest - A Time-Lapse Journey Through the Forgotten Norway
"The Forest" takes us on a journey through the deep forests and aims to shine light on a landscape in Norway one usually does not see in the tourist magazines. This is portrayed through the magical night, mystical morning and adventurous day. Set to the words of Theodor Kittelsen the film gives associations with the traditional, Norwegian fairytales in a modern visual and auditive setting.
Virtual Hike - Beautiful Crystal Blue Pond and Waterfall
A one hour hike to a beautiful brilliant blue water pond and waterfall. The waterfall shown at the end of this video flows only a few days out of the year. UPDATE: Because social media has played a role in this location becoming too crowded and dangerous, we are posting the following information: If you plan to hike here, PLEASE use caution and consider the risks! The water is NOT swim-able and is 38 degrees year-round. People have died jumping off the cliffs into the 38 degree water and in 2015 a 52 year old man died just taking a picture and losing his balance while doing so. Please use common sense! Cell phones do not have coverage here, so calling in any emergency requires a trek of over two miles down the mountain. - "Take only memories. Leave only footprints." -
